One real favour

Tell me where you stopped playing, and why. Bored, stuck or broken: the honest one.

This is the window where what you tell me still changes the game, and nobody else can tell me where you got bored.

Telling me things

Send feedback

Or from inside the game: the settings key at the top right of the home screen, then FEEDBACK. A note sent from there tells me your phone and where you were. Or just message me. Honest reactions beat bug reports.

Worth knowing

See all five bosses in five minutes

Each of the five contracts ends in a duel with a warp leech — a machine clamped across the lane, drinking it. They're the best part of the game and they're normally hours away.

So: on a contract's star map, press and hold its last stage for three seconds (stage 08 on the first contract, 16 on the second, and so on). A ring charges around your finger and the game asks for a tester passcode. Message me for it, enter it, and you drop straight into that fight. All five are different puzzles.

These runs never reach the leaderboards, so you can't accidentally cheat your way onto a board. The passcode only keeps the bosses from spoiling themselves for everyone else; it exists for you.

What's most useful to tell me
  • Where did you stop playing, and why? The single most useful thing you can say.
  • What was confusing in the first two minutes?
  • What felt unfair — as opposed to just hard? Those are very different.
  • Did it stutter, overheat, or drain the battery?
  • Did anything look wrong — cut off at the edges, overlapping, hidden behind the notch?

"I got bored on stage 06" is worth more to me than a typo.

Already known — don't bother reporting
  • Leaderboards need a connection. The game itself plays fully offline.
  • No tablet layout yet — it works, but it's built for phones.
  • The boss shortcut above and its passcode. Both are deliberate.
If it crashes

If the game stops on a SYSTEM FAULT screen, tap to restart; your progress is saved. The error is kept on your phone, and the next note you send from FEEDBACK in settings carries it to me.

A crash with no story is just a stack trace. Tell me roughly what you were doing and it becomes fixable.

Your data

No advertising, no analytics, no tracking. When a score posts it sends an anonymous id, the display name you type, and how the run went — nothing else. A FEEDBACK note also carries the game's version, your phone model, your screen size and where in the game you were.

You can delete all of it from inside the game under MY DATA. Full detail in the privacy policy.

If a store says the app isn't available, tell me which country and which phone. The test should be open everywhere; if it isn't, that's on my side.
