Warp Vanguard

Delete your data

You can erase everything Warp Vanguard holds about you from inside the game. It takes about ten seconds and needs no account, no email and no request to us.

In the game

  1. Open System Config — the gear on the main menu. (The leaderboard screen has the same door.)
  2. Tap MY DATA.
  3. Tap DELETE MY RUNS, then confirm.

Deleted

Every leaderboard entry you hold, on every board · the replay traces stored with them · any feedback you sent us · the anonymous player id itself.

Removed immediately and permanently. It cannot be undone.

Kept

Nothing that identifies you. Like any web service, our hosting provider records technical request logs containing IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. They are never joined to leaderboard entries, are not used to profile anyone, and age out on the provider's own schedule.

Your local progress, settings and personal bests are also untouched — those never left your device in the first place.

Retention

Leaderboard entries are otherwise kept indefinitely — that is what a leaderboard is, and weekly boards are deliberately frozen when their week closes so results stand as a permanent record. There is no automatic expiry, which is precisely why the control above exists.

Feedback is different. A message you send is kept until we have dealt with it, then for 90 days, and nothing is kept beyond 12 months.

If you only want your name off

RENAME MY RUNS, in the same panel, changes the display name on every entry you hold while leaving your scores and positions intact. For most people who want a chosen name off a public board, this is the better control.

What we hold at all

Only what a leaderboard needs: an anonymous player id generated by the game, the display name you typed, and how a run went — plus a replay trace of the controls, which is how the server proves a score was really achieved.

And one optional thing: if you use FEEDBACK in System Config, we receive what you wrote, plus four short facts: the version of the game, the stage you last played, your device model and your screen size. If the game crashed before you wrote, the note also carries the error message it caught. That is the whole list. The model is a name like “Pixel 8” that millions of devices share — not a device identifier, and never used to recognise you; no advertising ID or serial is read. Nobody but us ever sees the message, it is never shown in the game, and nothing comes back down that channel; if you want an answer, the panel also shows an address you can write to. The panel asks you not to put your name or anything private in the message.

There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. We never receive your name, email address, phone number, location or any device identifier. If you have never submitted a score and never sent feedback, we hold nothing about you at all.

Your progress, settings and personal bests are stored only on your own device, and uninstalling removes them.

Uninstalling does not delete your entries

Leaderboard entries live on the server and stay after the app is gone. If you want them removed, use the control above before you uninstall — it is by far the easiest route, and after uninstalling it may not be possible at all. The next section explains why.

If you have already uninstalled

Email hello@gb-il.cloud with the subject “Delete my data”. We aim to respond within 30 days.

An honest limit, so it is not a surprise: entries carry no name, email or account we can look you up by. The only identifier is the anonymous id that was held on your device, so once that is gone we may genuinely be unable to tell which rows were yours. A display name is not proof — anyone can read one off a public board.

We act regardless on any report that an entry contains someone's real name or personal information, or that a name is offensive or impersonates someone. Those need no proof of who is asking, and every entry on a board carries a report this link.
